The short version

What is My Criminal Life?

A crime game that runs in your browser. There’s nothing to install, and it fits a phone screen as well as a desktop.

You start with $100 and a cardboard box. Everything after that is up to you: crimes, the gym, a day job, a gang, or all four.

Your bars refill while you’re away. Energy, brave, will and health come back on a timer, so ten minutes between other things is a real session.

The city

What you do here

Every one of these is open in the game today. A few other doors on the map still say “soon”, and the guides say which.

A young man in a flat cap counts a fan of cash on a loading dock under one lamp, the crowned tower lit up behind him.

Run crimes, climb the ranks

Crimes cost brave and pay cash and experience. You start by searching water fountains for change. A miss can land you in the County Lockup.

Get out of the box

Everyone starts in a cardboard box. The Estate Agent sells fifteen places to live, up to a private island, and a better home counts toward your rank.

A dim casino floor with a row of slot machines and a roulette table under a hanging lamp.

Try the casino

The Velvet Rope runs roulette, video poker, blackjack and more, all for game cash. The odds for every game are published.

Take down a boss

Every city has a boss on the Most Wanted board, sitting on a stash. Anyone can take a swing, and the cash and gear are split by damage.

A police car in a dark alley behind yellow tape, next to an open briefcase.

Read the paper

The Criminal Times prints the city’s stories every day, with the Crime Blotter, market prices and the classifieds. Reading it is free.

A city dump at dusk: hills of trash bags, a crane holding a magnet over the scrap heap and junked cars stacked high, the skyline behind.

Dig through the dump

Spend energy on the piles at the City Dump for scrap, tools and whatever other players threw out. A shovel helps.
